ABOUT THE ACT
Aiko Tanaka makes music for the moment after the peak: voice, tape hiss and slow-moving synthesisers that fill a room without pushing it. Her dawn sets are famous; the Warehouse at 23:30 is the closest a festival gets to dawn.
Seventy-five minutes to land the whole weekend — sit on the floor if you like, nobody will mind. The shed's brick does half the mixing. Expect to leave quieter than you arrived.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- — A 75-minute ambient set in total darkness but for the desk
- — Voice, tape loops and synths — the gentlest hour of Brasswell
- — Floor seating welcome; the brick does the rest
