Why Brasswell
Brasswell is a festival run by musicians on a disused customs quay beside the Tagus. It lasts three nights, uses three stages and books forty acts, and the sound always comes first.
Every act gets a fair fee, there is no VIP enclosure and the stages carry no sponsor banners. Headliners share the bill with bands who spent the winter in small rooms across the city.
The site / Brasswell
Every stage has its own crew, bar and finishing time. The Pier winds down at 23:00 to keep the river calm, while the Warehouse carries on until 02:00 behind thick brick walls.

HARBOUR YARDS
For three nights the old customs quay becomes Brasswell: the Main Stage on the former car park, the Pier out on the water and the Warehouse inside the customs shed, each only a few minutes' walk from the next.
Doors open at 17:00 and the final ferry to the city centre leaves at 02:30, after the closing set.
