ABOUT THE ACT
Lantern Parade tours with nine people and no van space to spare: strings, brass, two drummers and songs arranged like small weather systems. Their autumn show sold out in an afternoon; the Pier gives them water, wind and room to be huge.
Sunday's 20:30 set is the weekend's grandest hour — sixty-five minutes ending just as the Main Stage closing act begins. Catch the strings here, then walk the five minutes to the bowl.
